Pt. Leo Estate spreads over 330 acres on the southern edge of the peninsula, looking over Western Port to Phillip Island. Its 16-acre sculpture park holds what the estate calls Australia's largest collection of privately owned sculptures. Works by Deborah Halpern, KAWS, Jaume Plensa and Julian Opie stand on the lawns.
Hours: daily from 11 am. Last entry and last tastings are at 4:30 pm, so a late-afternoon arrival leaves you little time.

Red Hill and Main Ridge sit on the high ground behind Arthurs Seat. These cellar doors appear on the tours, and each one serves food:
T'Gallant: the cellar door opens daily, 10 am to 5 pm, and serves Italian food. It takes walk-ins, which makes it the easiest stop if you drive yourself.
Green Olive: Green Olive at Red Hill is a farm as well as a cellar door. It opens every day, 9 am to 5 pm: food until 4, coffee and wine until 5. Lunch sittings are at 11:45 am and 2 pm. The hot springs day with lunch spends an hour and a half here.
Montalto: Montalto is the lunch stop on the food and wine day from the city. If you drive there yourself, check its hours and book lunch with the estate first.
The small-group wine days pair a tasting at Quealy with lunch at Merricks General Store, then drive on to Pt. Leo Estate.
Quealy: Quealy Winemakers pours at its own cellar door. The seven-hour day tastes in the barrel room for an hour, and the eight-hour day for an hour too. If you go alone, call ahead for its hours.
Merricks General Store: the lunch venue on both small-group days. The shorter day gives it two hours, with two courses and a glass of wine.
